Responsibilities:

- Maintain security and control within a correctional facility
- Monitor inmate activities and behavior
- Conduct searches of inmates and their living areas
- Enforce facility rules and regulations
- Respond to emergencies and maintain order in the facility
- Conduct inspections to ensure safety and security measures are in place
- Write reports detailing incidents, violations, and inmate behavior

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in law enforcement or corrections is preferred
- Knowledge of correctional procedures, policies, and practices
- Familiarity with first aid and CPR techniques
- Proficient in conflict management and de-escalation strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate with inmates, staff, and visitors
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Experience with report writing and documentation
- Familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems

As a Correctional Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of the correctional facility. Your responsibilities will include monitoring inmate activities, enforcing rules and regulations, responding to emergencies, and maintaining order within the facility.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in law enforcement or corrections. You should also possess strong conflict management skills, be familiar with first aid techniques, and have the ability to effectively communicate with inmates, staff, and visitors. Additionally, attention to detail and strong observation skills are essential for this position.

Pay: From $21.44 per hour
