Performs a wide variety of administrative, clerical and scale admin duties reporting to the Facility Manager including scheduling of key events, facilitating communications, and day-to-day operations.
- Answer telephone; respond to questions from customers, vendors, and/or employees
- Process and distribute daily mail
- Input costs associated with the yard’s operation into spreadsheet on a daily basis
- Input daily activity for the facility to the SAI system
- Write checks for materials purchased from customers
- Check day-end reports for accuracy; verify numbers and codes with tape
- Maintain inventory manuals for ferrous, nonferrous; input information into the SAI system, position reports and other related reports; provide current information to all appropriate parties
- Process invoices received for facility; resolve any issues with vendors
- Balance ferrous and nonferrous manuals with SAI system at month end
- Reconcile uniform invoices
- Run reports (SAI, spreadsheets and manual), used for managing the operation of the facility, on a scheduled basis and provide to appropriate individuals
- Oversee, assign and review work of Scale Clerks; provide training and direction as needed; coordinate employee attendance and work area coverage; provide input to the hiring, evaluation and discipline process for the Scale employees
- Order supplies as needed
- Perform other related duties or special projects

**Requirements**:
High school diploma or GED required. Prefer specialized training equal to two years of college or an Associates’ degree in Business Administration. Requires a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience in general office work, including customer service experience and working with managers in order to gain sufficient skill to perform the requirements of the position.

Basic math abilities preferred; must be able to multi-task and problem-solve when handling customers and vendors in person, on the phone, etc. Must be able to communicate with all levels of internal and external contacts.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
