**Job Summary**:
The Sanitation Worker primary responsibility is maintaining sanitation of the kitchen as well as washing pots, pans, dishes, utensils, food preparation equipment, and floors.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Use personal protective equipment as required for each cleaning task performed.
- Combine and mix required cleaning agents as documented for each cleaning assignment.
- Understands correct labeling of chemicals and containers.
- Collect and remove all remaining trash from kitchen, and storage areas. Dispose of trash in outside trash dumpsters.
- Collects all recycle material and places them in the correct recycle container.
- Clean office areas, includes and not limited to sweeping and mopping.
- Make sure all equipment is in good working order, report broken equipment immediately to manager for repair.
- Be able to work all holidays and scheduled parties after normal hours of operation.
- Must complete all assigned Relias training on a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Director.

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:

- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with everyone
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within supervision.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.

**Physical Requirements**:

- The physical ability to stand and or walk continuously.
- The physical ability to climb, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.
- Must be able to lift and carry up heavy trays up to 50 pounds.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
