Accounting Clerk

Dubak Electrical Group, LLC is hiring a Part-time Accounting Clerk to our corporate office in La Grange, Illinois. This individual must have excellent communication and organization skills. This individual should have proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable of Accounts Payable Clerk. Ideally, this person would work four days per week (7 hours per day), however, there is flexibility with the schedule.

**Responsibilities for this position would include, but are not limited to**:

- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in the accounting system
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Assist in reconciliation of accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis in a timely manner
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Consistently enhance your job knowledge
- Prepare general ledger postings and statements
- Be open to being cross-trained with other accounting responsibilities, such as payroll
- Assist with office-related duties. These tasks include answering phones, organizing mail, and ordering office supplies.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk, (preferred but not required)
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Professional with your appearance, communication, and actions
- Be able to work independently, as well as with a team
- Well organized
- Ability to build positive working relationships
- High school degree - an associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus
