Job Summary:
Riverbrook provides quality care for all its residents. This includes daily living skills, good hygiene, community experiences, recreational and social activities, doctor appointments, and medical care.
**Clinical Program Director Job Summary**:
Supervision of the daily operation of the Riverbrook facility with the goal of establishing a calm, organized environment, which encourages the growth, development and physical well-being of the women who make their home at the residence.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
v Interact positively with all Riverbrook residents and staff
v Manages the physical, mental health, safety and well being of each resident
v Supervises all medical systems -experience with MAP (Medication Administration Procedure)
v Collaborates with clinician to develop behavioral guidelines and plans using Applied Behavioral Analysis and Positive Behavioral Supports
v Develops Medication Treatment Plans
v Serves as primary liaison with parents/guardians, staff, medical professionals and other agencies and community members as necessary to promote the Riverbrook program and ensure the well-being of the residents in their daily activities
v Monitors day and residential program initiatives and concerns (new residents, changing needs, planning etc.)
v Experience using Massachusetts HCSIS (Home and Community Services Information System) software.
v All supervisory issues affecting employees
v Provides staff supervision, ensures appropriate staffing patterns and roles
v Maintains regulatory and licensing compliance
v Shared On Call responsibilities as assigned
v Performs directives and duties as requested by the Executive Director and the Board of Directors
v Senior Management Team member
v Ability to climb stairs and lift a minimum of 25lbs.
**Minimal Requirements**:
- Massachusetts licensed Registered Nurse
- Bachelor's Degree or five years experience in the field of Human Services/ Developmental Disabilities
- Experience with staff supervision and performance evaluation
- Excellent organizational and planning skills and good common sense
- Flexibility, humor and humanistic approach to dealing with competing needs of the organization and the individuals it serves.
- Self
- awareness and the ability to set and promote appropriate social and professional boundaries.
