**Title**:Loss Mitigation Processor

**Reports to**:Loss Mitigation Processing Team Lead

**Job Type**:Clerical - Non-Exempt - Full Time

**Job Purpose**:Responsible for intake and processing of all company loss mitigation files.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately input data into internal system and monitor deadlines
- Review each Loss Mitigation file to determine if all the baseline documentation has been provided
- Prepare additional information or acknowledgement letters, as applicable.
- Attend all department trainings, webinars, or other department meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality standards that protect the borrower’s private data.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

**Knowledge Skills and Abilities**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and Adobe
- Attention to Detail and Accuracy
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of urgency and meeting challenging deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a paperless environment.

**Minimum Experience and Education Requirements**:

- High school degree (or equivalent) required, some college preferred.
- Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA default servicing guidelines preferred
- Knowledge of loss mitigation underwriting preferred
- Mortgage Servicing experience preferred.

**Decision Making Authority**:

- Some independent decision making with team support

**Salary -** $18-$20/hr

**Background Check Required**

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
