Service Receptionists at Southern Auto Group are responsible for receiving customers with a sincere greeting and a warm smile Within seconds, our Service Receptionists will provide a pleasant and welcoming first impression. You will take strides to engage the customer in a positive and reassuring manner, as in most cases, they are about to take on a major expense. Acting as the front line point-of-contact for the Service Department, our Service Receptionists set the tone by being an **OUTSTANDING LISTENER**. You will document the problem(s), repeat it to the customer for clarification, and then set expectations in terms of the cost and delivery timeline. Your schedule will be:
Monday - Friday: 7AM - 5PM **Occasional weekends

The ideal Automotive Service Receptionist has a working knowledge of the automotive industry, a willingness and interest in automotive repair, strong administrative and organizational skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Answers incoming telephone calls and route calls quickly and efficiently to the appropriate person/department
- Meets and greets all Service Center clientele in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
- Arranges service or repair and sets expectations for cost and completion
- Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
- Assists with problem resolution as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Provides administrative assistance as needed

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong communication, presentation and writing skills
- Excellent telephone skills
- Knowledge of automotive servicing or repair highly desired
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- An impressive work ethic
- Genuinely helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
