**Duties**:

- Serves as member of a Web Development team. Incumbent is responsible for a variety of product development assignments
- Using tools such as SAP and ServiceNow on a daily basis.
- Works with End-user representative and functional analysts to define as well as to understand the customers' needs. Analyzes requirements for technical feasibility and completeness.
- Provides advice on the impacts, risks and risk mitigation of software development decision, plans, designs and specifications.
- Provides technical expertise to both information system personnel responsible for system design and other information system analysts
- contd responsible for related portions of the AIS during development of system architectural design and software development.
- Coordinates with other AIS project personnel and computer specialists in developing data and executing a comprehensive test plan
- contd data covering all levels of testing to ensure the integrity of the data base and data movement.
- Ensures software transitions and software development environment to the designated support site is in compliance with established standards, procedures, policies, regulations, and guidelines.
- Monitors contractor performance to assure compliance with technical requirements of the contract.

**Qualifications**:

- To qualify for an IT Specialist (APPSW/OS), your resume and supporting documentation must support:

- **A. Specialized Experience**:One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:

- Analyze, evaluate, develop, test, implement, modify, and maintain code using SAP.
- Define and document system operational concepts, system wide design decisions, system architectural design; and create user documentation.
- Develop software test plans, prepare test cases, procedures and data, conduct training, and analyze and document test results.

For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed:
