**As well as construction/handyperson work, we also have lawn maintenance, tree care and debris removal work.**

Are you a skilled and reliable handyman looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a General Handyman to join our thriving team in. As a General Handyman at Homepal, you will have the opportunity to work on jobs that fit in with your current schedule.
We work in two ways
- 1. An hourly rate basis with the potential of up to 40 hours a week available, as well as overtime. Compensation based on experience, will be reviewed based on performance.
2. A price per job basis, I send all the job information I have over to you, organize a visit if need be and then you provide me an estimate to complete the job. This is the current preferred way of work by our Handymen
**We do not do remodeling we just concentrate on smaller projects** Please see below for more info.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks with attention to detail.
- Work independently and collaboratively with the team to complete jobs efficiently.
- Possess a valid driver's license and have your own reliable transport to travel to job sites.
- Maintain flexible availability to be contacted and attend jobs sometimes within a day's notice.
- Provide friendly customer service while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Example jobs may include general handyman maintenance and repairs work, interior painting, drywall repairs and patching, Flooring Installation & Repairs Door and Window Installation and Repairs, Furniture Assembly, TV Mounting, Light Fixture Installation, Faucet Installation etc.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a handyman is essential.
- Personal vehicle, ideally a truck with tools.
- Ability to work on small-scale projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and a friendly demeanour.
- Willingness to travel across Fort Myers, FL and surrounding areas.
- Gas and travel time to job sites will be covered by yourself, with occasional additional pay to offset these expenses based on the job.
- Ability to collect materials from local hardware stores and carry the expenses until payday.
- Weekly payment on Fridays, for the week Thursday to Thursday with materials expense reimbursed weekly.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Handyman licenses or qualifications are preferred but not essential.
- Supporting Insurances for Handyman Works
- Strong awareness and adherence to health and safety protocols.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- No nights
- On call
- Overtime
