**THE FAMILY | **This loving, considerate, and organized family seeks a new nanny to join their team to help with the day-to-day care of their two girls.
The parents mostly work from home. Occasionally, the mom will work from the office or travel for work. They need a self-starter who is experienced, playful, reliable, and professional, and most importantly, someone who loves toddlers and preschoolers.
**THE DAUGHTERS | **The oldest is 3.5 years old. She is described as passionate, curious, and sensitive. She is responsible and communicates well for her age.
The youngest is 18 months old. She is described as sweet and loving. She epitomizes a toddler: active, silly, curious, and bold.
The girls have no known allergies or dietary restrictions.
They love age-appropriate play and listening to music. They are not allowed screens when the nanny is around. The oldest is allowed occasional screentime but only when the parents suggest it.
The family’s discipline style is all about communication and rewarding positive behavior. They believe in setting expectations and offering consequences and expect the nanny to follow.
**THE JOB DETAILS | **Connect with and engage both girls in a loving, kind, and compassionate manner. Support the parents with the day-to-day care of their daughters and the general day
- to-day care of their home. Proactively support all aspects of the girls' care. The role involves managing all tasks related to the girls’ care and overall well-being. This encompasses routine care, maintaining hygiene, creating engaging activities, diaper disposal/emptying diaper pails, bottle sanitation, restocking necessary items, handling the girls’ laundry, vacuuming their rooms, children's dishes/unloading/loading dishwasher, tidying/picking up after children and self, setting up the girls for the next day, etc. Work with parents to schedule and coordinate play dates, extracurricular activities, etc.
Additional duties extend beyond childcare to include light housekeeping in common areas such as tidying up, dishes, and kitchen cleanliness. Emptying trash if full. Meal preparation for the girls, and occasionally for the family, may also be part of the role, provided the nanny enjoys cooking.
Feed cats and make sure they have water.

They are observant. Takes the initiative to keep things tidy and organized without having to be prompted. Helps with all of the duties that directly and indirectly relate to the care and wellbeing of the girls. Skilled at multitasking.
Basic knowledge and experience preparing meals for young children. A strong background in meal prep and cooking is preferred but not required.
Strong work ethic, team player, and strong command of English, both written and verbal. Spanish speaking is strongly welcomed but not required.
Active and adopts a healthy lifestyle. A self-starter and has a proactive nature. Reliable and responsible.
**THE REQUIREMENTS |**
At least three years of dedicated experience working as a nanny caring for toddlers and preschoolers
At least five years of experience caring for children ages 1.5 to 5.
Previous experience working with multiples.
Enjoys and is passionate about childcare and supporting families.
A strict non-smoking policy is in place for the well-being of the family environment. Lives a healthy lifestyle.

**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

Current CPR and First Aid Certification, pediatrics, and adults.
**THE SCHEDULE | **Monday to Friday, 12 to 6 PM, with guaranteed hours. Once the mom returns to work, the hours may increase to a full day from 9 AM to 6 PM
Occasional date nights and weekends may be asked throughout the years together.
**THE RATE | **$30 to $35 per hour. Guaranteed weekly hours. Paid leave.
**THE START DATE | **June 2024
