Duties
The SLS Worker will provide 2:1 ratio assistance to the Consumer in the language of their choice, at home and in the community. We are looking for 8 support staff for one individual, 2 staff for every shift (7 days a week and 24 hours service). Morning starts at 7am -3pm, Day shift starts at 3pm - 11pm and overnight shift starts at 11pm - 7am. SLS Worker’s Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Helping the Consumer to obtain his/her IPP objectives in line with their ISP.
- Maintenance of documentation regarding Consumer’s progress
- Keeping consumer’s information confidential
- Taking case notes on each date of service and assisting in the assessment, planning and evaluation processes as needed
- Maintenance of current car insurance and provision of transport for the consumer
- Coaching the consumer based on approved curriculum.
- Communicate with consumer’s probation officer as appropriate and give update as to consumer’s program progress when applicable.
- 24-hour response to law enforcement issues regarding consumer when applicable
- Court representation if, and when applicable
- Teach/instruct consumers in all areas of curriculum.
- Assist Consumer in all areas of need in line with consumer’s IPP.
- Work Hours depends on the programming established by consumer served.
- 24-hour response to situations concerning SLS consumers
**Skills**:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in calendar management and scheduling software
- Experience with team management or supervision is a plus
- Knowledge of medical office management is preferred but not required

Pay: $19.50 - $20.50 per hour
