Job Summary Description:
This position is responsible for the management of ongoing local network support for the business unit including the main office, plants, satellite offices, and job site locations to ensure workforce efficiency and productivity. Manages the activities associated with providing technical services to internal customers by identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported problems with workstations and networked systems. Ensures that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved. Supports and maintains effective relationships with end users, local business management, and Corporate IT Staff. Develops information technology projects and provides strategic management and objectives for the business unit. Follows standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to IT support. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of IT functions.

Essential Job Accountabilities:

- Resolve local network and communication issues to maintain operational readiness.
- Maintain and support VoIP, Teams phone system and related equipment.
- Develop and maintain business unit IT documentation to enable consistent standards and operating procedures.
- Create and test the local Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans to ensure minimum downtown in the event of a disaster.
- Coordinate the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment in compliance with corporate standards.
- Maintain hardware inventory, licensing and asset rotation consistent with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with the design, installation, requirement gathering, and maintenance of IT resources for acquisitions, large projects and joint ventures to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
- Provide guidance to Business Unit management to determine future IT needs at the location, enterprise initiatives, budgets, forecasts, licensing and asset rotation to ensure profitability and alignment with Company goals and objectives.
- Maintain open communication with Group IT Manager and local Business Manager to ensure effective problem resolution and establishment of priorities.
- Assist helpdesk personnel with support tickets and escalations as needed.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; or Equivalent training, experience and certifications.
- CompTIA A+ certification.
- Microsoft Certified Professional.
- CompTIA Network+ certification preferred.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert preferred[AP1].

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

- Minimum 8 years relevant experience in network and PC support for a multi-site business environment.
- Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. This job is a fully qualified, career-oriented, journey
- level position.
- Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Internal and external contacts often pertain to company plans and objectives.
- Determines methods and procedures for new assignments and may provide guidance to others.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 Professional.
- Advanced knowledge of MDM deployment and management using Microsoft Intune.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2019 Server and Microsoft Active Directory.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform.
- Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office 365 cloud platforms.
- Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki and Fortinet internetworking products.
- Basic knowledge of VoIP, teams phone system and Communications.
- Ability to convey technical concepts and ideas to non-technical personnel.
