Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Preschool Director to join our team. As the Preschool Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our preschool program, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our students. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that promotes early childhood development and prepares students for kindergarten
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment
- Hire, train, and supervise teaching staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and address any concerns or questions
- Manage administrative tasks such as enrollment, scheduling, budgeting, and record keeping
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and promotes respect
- Implement behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and regulations

**Skills**:

- Experience working with children in a preschool or early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of literacy education principles and practices
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Understanding of DCF rules and regulations and best practices in early childhood education
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques
