**Job Summary**:
Are you passionate about creating vibrant communities and ensuring resident satisfaction? As a Leasing Specialist, you'll be at the heart of a community, driving leasing and renewal strategies that keep our occupancy rates high and our residents happy. You'll play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with residents, guiding them through the leasing process, and ensuring they have an exceptional living experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Stay Market-Savvy**: Keep up with market trends and competitor activities to adapt and refine our leasing strategies.
- **Leverage Technology**: Use property management software to track apartment availability, log leasing activities, and maintain up-to-date records for current and prospective residents.
- **Maintain High Standards**: Ensure our community is always at its best by inspecting leasing areas, coordinating with maintenance for repairs, and keeping the leasing office ready for daily operations.
- **Build Resident Relationships**:Communicate with potential and current residents to enhance their satisfaction and encourage leasing or renewal decisions.
- **Support Lease Renewals**:Prepare renewal communications, engage with residents about renewals, and ensure timely completion of renewal documentation.
- **Resolve Resident Concerns**: Address resident inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring they are resolved or escalated as needed.
- **Manage Reports**: Prepare and manage various financial and administrative reports.
- **Enforce Policies**: Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures, including regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- **Drive Operational Improvements**: Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- **Handle Confidential Information**: Manage sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: At least one year of experience in leasing, sales, or marketing with a strong customer service background.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for completing legal documents, marketing amenities, and addressing residency queries.
- **Sales Skills**: Proficient in sales techniques, including lead generation, presentation, prospect qualification, and closing.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Proficient in financial and word processing software.
- **Mathematical Skills**: Strong mathematical skills for managing financial records and budgets.
- **Marketing Experience**: Experience with internet-based marketing and sales platforms, including Craigslist, Google, and other relevant tools.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
