IoT Security Engineering Solutions is looking for an Alarm Security / Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. This position is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive hourly pay rate.

This position is great for technicians wanting to have more flexibility with their schedule and have the opportunity to make a good living.

As a member of our service/install commercial department, you will have the opportunity to work on unique campaigns and see the results of your hard work firsthand.

Your job duties will include inspecting, installing and servicing a wide range of devices, from burglar panels to camera systems, and fire alarm panels.

**Requirements**:

- Fire Alarm License
- Alarm Security License
- Working Knowledge of Bosch Alarm Panel
- Working Knowledge of DMP Alarm Panel
- At least 1 year of experience in the Alarm Security /Fire Alarm industry, preferably 2 year of experience as an installer or technician. Installation experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (up to 6 inches) and lift heavy objects.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Position is 100% travel focused in Texas
- May be required to travel to other areas as needed
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug test. (On occasion we will require testing upon hiring)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 50 per week
