**Responsibilities**:

- Place purchase orders for acquisition
- Review and implement inventory replenishment processes
- Obtain market intelligence to optimize ability to purchase parts at best quality and lowest cost
- Develop cost comparisons
- Develop reports to analyze cost and inventory
- Develop offers to purchase material based on internal demand and stock position
- Develop process and method to capture business expenditures
- Support audits as needed
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Ensure vendor compliance
- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
- Examine and test existing contracts.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
- Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.
- Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
- Control spending and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Inventory management and demand forecasting for assigned product categories.
- Use historical data, input from the sales and marketing teams, and market treads to constantly improve and update demand forecasting.
- Communicate with vendors by sending purchase orders, understating capacity constraints, ensuring on time shipments, and planning production volume to maximize container space.
- Constantly analyze and improve forecasting methods to understand forecasting errors and implement strategies to mitigate those errors
- Assist with transportation planning to ensure on time shipment deliveries.

**Requirements**:

- Fully Bilingual - both writing and speaking
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Management (preferred)
- Experience in food-related purchasing (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills (data mining, reporting, analysis, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a changing environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to be a multitasker who can handle multiple projects at once and be focused on detail
