Live-in Housekeeper

**About us**

**Lotus Galveston Inn** is a new accommodation in the Historic District of Galveston, Texas. It is part of a small group of inns located in Provincetown called Lotus Provicetown Inn.

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented, live-in Housekeeper to join our small 7 room hotel. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a clean and comfortable stay.

The position comes with a private room in a self contained apartment that you will share with the another worker. Basic English skills is required to communicate with the owner, but there are no guest interactions. The owner also speaks Chinese.

**Responsibilities and Skills**:
Cleaning guestrooms, bathrooms and common areas. Cleaning outdoors guest areas. Stocking rooms and drink stations with amenities. Tracking inventory. Washing laundry and light gardening. Emptying daily and weekly trash. Report maintenance issues and assist in coordinating repairs. Must be able to work independently, and lift 50lbs. Cleaning experience in hospitality is required but will train those with relevant experience. Background and drug tests required.

**Pay**

This is a 1099 position that pays $15 per hour for 6 hour shift; 5 days per week.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
