This Retail Sales Manager Position is for our up and coming Somerville Maine location, and we are excited to carry these etho’s forward as the foundation for our business at "The Shed" This location will be Recreational, and is set to open July 2024 The Retail Sales Manager will report directly to the C.O.O, and is responsible for managing all aspects of the Somerville, Maine location. This includes following our State Approved Operational Plan, along with any local rules/guidelines to uphold compliance. The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of operating and managing the location including staffing, performance reviews and management, cash handling, opening and closing, Scheduling, upholding Staff and Customer Compliance, inventory management within metric (including spot checks and quarterly audits), Menu Management following the menu playbook, ordering of supplies / weekly needs, ensuring discounts are accurate, and building and upholding the culture and core values that is expected at Atlantic Farms. Since this location is brand new, working to develop meaningful relationships in the community with fellow business owners/community members will be critical within the role to build traffic and a profitable location. We are excited to incorporate food trucks on site, community trails, disc golf and more down the line. This manager would be a participant in incorporating this into the location & community. The Retail Sales Manager will also work regularly with a number of Anderson st. staff to ensure the location is operating at peak efficiency and flow.This includes but is not limited to Manufacturing Manager, Purchasing Manager, Marketing Manager, Administrative Assistant. The Retail Sales Manager must maintain the ability to work within the Maine Adult Use Cannabis Program.

Staffing
- Hiring, firing, Performance Management, 30/60/90 review, Staff quarterly check in’s, Annual Reviews
- Training - Ongoing and for new Members

Inventory
- Maintaining / ensuring accurate inventory at location
- Receiving weekly van trips from Anderson St. (AF products)
- Receiving from vendors, when scheduled to drop direct.
- Executing Daily Spot Checks with Staff
- Executing / organizing Monthly and Quarterly Audits

Cash Handling
- Staff training / Ongoing management of using best practices
- Monthly Petty Cash - counting and documenting
- Managing/solving if any shortages arise.
- Safe pickups from Tetrapoint
- Scheduling any maintenance with safe if needed.

Menu Management
- Dropping Packages to ensure menu is following playbook
- Display’s set to reflect menu (Tag, display item)
- Weekly Call with Purchasing Manager to relay customer feedback on products, what the weekly needs are on restock ect, ect

Events / Community
- Working with Marketing to schedule/run monthly Pop up, bi monthly Jar Takeovers, and other community events.
- Chamber of Commerce Ribbon cutting / involvement
- Farmers Market potentially on site

Marketing
- Suggesting / Locating local marketing opportunities that will benefit the location.

Ordering
- Weekly / Monthly checklist and ordering to ensure supplies are stocked.
- Weekly call with the Purchaser to ensure ordering for the store is reflective of the store's needs.
- Retail Cleanliness
- Wiping out display cases weekly.
- Ensuing work stations are clean and organized.
- Ensuring glass cases are clean and without fingerprints.
- Weekly cleaning of bathroom
- Daily vacuum and clean of retail area
- Opening / Closing
