The _**Dishwasher**_ contributes to the company’s operation and success by helping to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. Attributes that contribute to success in this role include being a reliable team worker, the ability to work quickly, and the physical stamina to work for extended periods while standing.

**The **_**Dishwasher**_**’s duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Operating an industrial dishwashing machine; sorting and loading in an organized manner.
- Checking washing machines’ operation and promptly reporting any technical/performance issues.
- Careful handling and maintenance of items/utilities that need to be cleaned and sanitized by hand as necessary (i.e. pots, pans, trays).
- Cleaning up spills or broken glassware ensuring kitchen floors are dry and do not pose any hazards.
- Providing assistance to prep cooks and other staff as needed.
- Ensuring the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.
- Maintaining storage areas for cleaned items/supplies.
- Emptying and cleaning around trash receptacles as needed.

**The **_**Dishwasher**_**’s work hours vary and will consist of day and evening shifts.**
- Has previous experience in a retail grocery store or as a dishwasher.
- Is punctual, reliable, and can adhere to a regularly assigned work schedule.
- Follows procedures thoroughly.
- Can work expeditiously and efficiently.
- Communicates well with the ability to function as a team player.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
