Rising Ground Justice for Youth and Families is currently looking to hire a Program Director for our South Ozone Park Limited Secure Placement facility (LSP) who will be responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the facility and the effective management of staff. The Program Director is the main link in assuring the provision of safe, secure, orderly, and quality services to all person supported who are placed in the program. The Program Director will run a home characterized by a supportive and therapeutic environment, conducive to self-improvement, and assure fidelity to utilizing Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) in conjunction with other models such as CBT, MYSI, Seven Challenges to support the milieu experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assure that the LSP facility complies with agency, city and state standards, and that staffing ratios are maintained.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain s95 or F80 FDNY fire alarms certifications.
- Support the principles of the "Integrated Treatment Model (ITM), Missouri Youth Institute (MYSI), Seven Challenges, ROCA CBT" with the end goal of teaching the young people to make positive, lasting changes in their behavior and prepare them to be self-sufficient through education and work experience.
- Prepare full-time staff schedules and ensure proper coverage utilizing per diem staff.
- Approve time sheets (payroll) and prepare overtime reports.
- Appropriately document accidents, illnesses, incidents, injuries, and other relevant reports
- Provide regular weekly supervision to Assistant Directors and all staff who report directly to the Program Director. Maintain a supervisory log to document this supervision.
- Develop the Assistance Director and identify areas for growth and development.
- Hold all staff to high performance standards to ensure they accomplish all functions and provide quality services to the residents.
- Collaborate with JYF leadership and Human Resources to ensure ongoing progressive discipline and the full accountability of staff behaviors.
- Orient new Youth Counselor, Shift Supervisor, and Control Room Monitor staff and provide ongoing training, support, and quality supervision.
- Ensure that all staff maintain training compliance as per ACS and OCFS mandates.
- Oversee the fiscal management of the facility with PEX/petty cash fund, clothing, purchasing, food ordering, household and personal hygiene supplies, etc.
- Work as part of a collaborative team which includes case planners, educators, clinicians, and nurses to support each youth as they work to meet their individual goals assessing during weekly treatment team meetings.
- Responsible for the appearance and safety of the facility.
- Assure that the agency vehicles are properly maintained.
- Schedule and maintain senior team meetings regularly.
- Share on-call responsibilities with Assistant Directors.
- Conduct pop-up visits of all tours.
- Ensure LSP complies with Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA).
- Conduct weekly review of incident logs, camera reviews, MAR sheets and other facility related documents to ensure compliance.
- Other related tasks that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

- BA/BS/BSW in related field required Master degree preferred.
- 3-5 Years of management experience working directly with court-related youth in a residential setting.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to maintain required documentation.
- Strong knowledge of ACS mandates and policies
- Strong knowledge of court-related youth population
- Strong knowledge of residential operations

Salary range 90k - 100k
