Sign Installer

**Summary/Objective**:Installing sign posts and signs typical to the Real Estate Industry

**Essential Functions**

- Review assigned installation orders each morning
- Gather the necessary parts and supplies and execute the orders in a timely manner.
- Installations are performed at various locations each day throughout the Chicago area.
- Typical installation requires light lifting and the use of a few hand tools including the hammering of signpost anchors into the ground by a sledgehammer.

**Competencies**
- Must be diligent about accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must be able to plan efficient geographic routes for the assigned orders.
- Must be somewhat handy, average to above average mechanical aptitude a plus.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and must pass an MVR.
- Must be able to work independently-with little direction
- Must be innovative-prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity.
- Must be adaptable/flexible-enjoying work that requires frequent shifts in direction.
- Must be dependable

**Work Environment**
- On the road, driving a company van

**Physical Demands**
- Lift and carry 25-50 Lbs.
- Must be able to climb, kneel, squat, bend, or reach overhead
- Must have manual dexterity

**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work.**
- This is a full time position.
- Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. OT as needed.

**Travel**

This position requires traveling from one place to another every day.

**Additional Eligibility Qualifications**

Mechanical Knowledge of 1 year experience**.**

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
