Advanced Practice Clinician

Empowering Minds has been providing individuals, couples, and families a better well-being by providing indivualized mental health treatment since 2017. We are in search for an experienced, compassionate, and skilled Advanced Practice Clinician to add to our multidisciplinary private practice.

**Compensation**:
- Fee for service model
- Potential income based on hours/availability (Minimum $46,000/year up to $150,000/year)
**Requirements**:
- Master's degree or doctoral degree with a specialization in psychiatry
- Active, clear full practice Illinois license & DEA
- Minimum two (2) years experience in outpatient mental health setting
- Experience with all ages (children - adult)
- Self-motivated and ambitous
- Comfortable working with a wide range of clinical presentations within an interdisciplinary team of mental health clinicians

**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Collaborate closely withs physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor the patient's response to treatment and make necessary adjustments
- Educate patients and families on psychiatric disorders and treatment strategies, promoting an understanding of the condition, adherence to treatment, and prevention of relapses
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records, and uphold patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Stay up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in psychiatry
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 - 32 per week
