During our 121-year history, we have developed core competencies in mining, processing, logistics and materials science that enable us to produce and cost-effectively deliver over 400 diversified product types to customers across our end markets. As of December 31, 2020, we operated 23 production facilities across the United States. We control 489 million tons of reserves of commercial silica, which can be processed to make 197 million tons of finished products that meet American Petroleum Institute ("API") frac sand specifications, and 79 million tons of reserves of diatomaceous earth, perlite, and clays.

**JOB PURPOSE**:
The Mapleton Depot Laborer, whose line of reporting is highlighted on the Mapleton Depot Organizational Chart, is to perform general clean-up, and general manual labor. Transport materials, supplies, and equipment throughout the plant. Fill vacancies in other job classifications

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Inspects, starts, operates, and stops all equipment and machinery in accordance with established limits and procedures.
- Shovels, sweeps, cleans up grounds, loads and unloads trucks and railroad cars, cleans sand spillage with water hose, broom, and
- Cuts weeds and trees and disposes of
- Washes floors, windows,
- Performs preventive maintenance, operating adjustments and repairs, and lubrication to equipment and machinery as required.
- Performs housekeeping and painting in immediate work area and other areas designated by supervisor
- Completes required reports and turns them in at designated times and places.
- Communicates with supervisors and co-workers on all shifts to ensure continuity of operations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to cooperate and work with others safely and proficiently.
- Willingness and ability to work in environment and expose to industrial health and safety hazards that require the use of safely PPE such as: respirators, ear protection, eye protection, safety shoes, hard hats and other designated safety items as required.
