**The Job**:

- San Bernardino County is recruiting for an innovative **Library Program Coordinator** to plan and administer specialized functions throughout the San Bernardino County Library system. The Library Program Coordinator will provide essential assistance to Library Administration by planning, developing and promoting system-wide Library programs to be presented to the community.

**ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT**

**Work Schedule**:These positions require regular weekend and evening work schedules.

**Pre-Employment Process**:Prior to appointment, applicants must undergo a background check, which includes fingerprinting and a medical exam.

**Travel**:Travel throughout San Bernardino County may be required. Employees will be required to make provision for transportation. At the time of hire, a valid California driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance must be produced for the individual providing the transportation, and must be maintained throughout employment.
- **Physical Requirements**:Physical requirements of the position include the following: frequent reaching and bending; continuous walking and standing; continuous pushing and pulling; constant lifting of materials and books up to 25 pounds and frequent lifting up to 75 pounds.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**EDUCATION**: A completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business/Public Administration, Communications, Marketing, Child Development, Education, or closely related field.

**EXPERIENCE**: Two (2) years of experience in any of the following developing and implementing community programs in a school, library, or recreation environment.
