Mental Health Counselor

With measurement-based care at the core of our approach, we use validated assessment tools to monitor symptoms and track improvements over time, allowing us to adjust treatment strategies as needed for optimal outcomes. The client's well-being is our top priority, and we are here to support them every step of the way towards better mental health.
Confessions of Freedom is a growing mental health private practice dedicated to offering compassionate and effective care to individuals in the vibrant city of New York.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct individual sessions with clients to address a variety of mental health concerns.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health diagnoses and develop appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with other members of the clinical team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current on best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of mental health counseling.
**Qualifications**:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current provisional licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of New York.
- Demonstrated clinical experience working with diverse populations and a wide range of mental health issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant ethical and legal standards governing mental health practice.
