Cognos Developer

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

- Lead effort to migrate and/or recreate existing extract, transform, and load (ETL) scripts from Cognos to IBM InfoSphere/DataStage.
- Support validation and testing.
- Assist with customer requirements for Cognos Data Modules, Reports and Dashboards.
- Assist with IBM Cognos Security and Administration functions.
- Identify and report system risks.

Qualifications: -5+ years experience in data warehouse and analytics development using IBM InfoSphere DataStage and Cognos Analytics.
- Experience creating, reviewing, and revising security documentation and artifacts. -Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies (server 2019/2022), including Active Directory, server cert management, and IIS (10). -Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM Cognos and InfoServer. -Experience with Oracle 19 databases and SQL scripting. -Experience in a DoD or law enforcement environment desired. -Strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Able to work independently and with a team. -Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.
