**To be a Teacher Aide, you’ll need**:

- **High school diploma/GED required; college credits preferred**:

- **NYS Teacher Assistant Certification (ATAS) within 6 months of hire date**:

- **Qualified NYS Driver’s License**:

- **Physical capacity: Aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of students**:

- **CBC Clearance**:

- Related classroom experience a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated willingness and aptitude working with children with intellectual, physical and other developmental disabilities

**Salary: $17.50/hr**
