**Essential Job Functions**:

- **Documentation Processing**: Review and process import/domestic documentation, creating organized folders for incoming shipments destined for US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
- **Data Management**: Accurately input shipping information into our system and maintain updated records.
- **Communication**:Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and Customs brokers to obtain shipment arrival updates and ensure smooth coordination.
- **Reporting**:Track, review, and update shipping reports, utilizing tools such as jet reports to facilitate data analysis.
- **Collaboration**: Engage in frequent communication with various departments within the company to ensure seamless import operations.
- **Administrative Support**: Perform data entry and other administrative duties as required to support import activities.
- **Team Assistance**: Provide backup support to other team members as needed to maintain workflow continuity.

**Job Requirements**:

- **Industry Knowledge**:Familiarity with Import Operations and Customs/FDA/USDA Regulations is advantageous.
- **Communication Skills**:Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
- **Attention to Detail**: Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- **Computer Proficiency**: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for efficient data management.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- **Organizational Skills**: Highly organized with the ability to identify priorities and act accordingly to meet deadlines.
- **Adaptability**: Willingness and ability to take on increased challenges and responsibilities as needed.
- **Industry Experience**:Previous experience in the food industry is advantageous.

**Specifications (Minimum requirements)**:

- Some college education preferred.
- Two years of previous related job experience is beneficial.
- On-Site Work: Must be able to commute and work on-site a minimum of one day per week.

**Schedule**:

- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Supplemental pay types**:

- Discretionary bonus based on performance

**Please note**: This role is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (4 days home/1 day in the office). Currently, employees are required to work in the office on Wednesdays. Moving forward, a time may come when employees will be asked to work from the office more, but a hybrid office/remote work schedule is expected to remain.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
