Job Summary
The Bookkeeper (III) is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing complex bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring the integrity of our financial data. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in QuickBooks, and the ability to handle various financial transactions and journal entries with precision.
General Accountabilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.- Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.- Monitor and review financial transactions for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies.- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.- Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.- Conduct regular audits to ensure financial records are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.- Provide support during external audits and reviews.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.- Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, with at least 3 years of experience using QuickBooks.- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.- Proficiency in managing journal entries and financial transactions.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
