Apprentice Pastry

Four Worlds Bakery is looking for an apprentice pastry baker residing in West Philly. We are established neighborhood bakery specializing in laminated dough (croissant) and sourdough bread/bagels. At least some experience in commercial food service is strongly preferred; but direct experience with croissant and baking in general is not required. Relaxed atmosphere. Job requires some early mornings beginning at 3:45am; and occasional front of house work to maintain connection with our customers. This is a great opportunity to learn and train under our expert Pastry Chef Stacey in our croissant and pastry production; this is the intersection between pastry and bread so it involves much pastry work as well as bread preparation.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
