**Responsibilities**:

- Warmly greet patients upon their arrival at the dental office.
- Schedule appointments for patients and manage appointment calendars.
- Maintain accurate patient accounts and records.
- Prepare and dispatch patient invoices.
- Process patient insurance claims efficiently.
- Assist patients in completing necessary intake and medical documentation.
- Facilitate specialist referrals and manage related documentation.
- Provide information on payment options to patients, as required.
- Monitor office supplies inventory and initiate procurement when necessary.
- Undertake basic accounting duties, including processing patient payments and generating billing statements.
- Update patient insurance details as needed.
- Ensure proper functioning of all dental office equipment.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining organizational efficiency.
- Supervise petty cash resources within the dental office.
- Uphold the professional appearance and orderliness of the reception area.

**Requirements**:

- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Reliable and well-organized.
- High school diploma; completion of dental assistant school preferred.
- Additional certification, such as a radiograph license, is advantageous.
- Proficient in Spanish preferred.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Pay**: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

**Expected hours**: 25 - 35 per week
