**Lead Receptionist Duties**:

- Operates telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information and taking messages. Ensure the messages taken down are given to the person they were intended for.
- Performs general administrative tasks: word processing, data entry and making phone calls for department heads upon request.
- Assists residents, family members, employees and other visitors as needed.
- Maintains security by following procedures and controlling access (i.e. monitor logbook and ask questions about who they are coming to see/check PCC to make sure patient is in the building)
- Receive and process daily mail/delivery/couriers/equipment. All deliveries should be recorded on the log for deliveries. The packages and equipment should be distributed daily to the appropriate party.
- Front Desk Daily notes spreadsheet should be maintained every day with entries for Time & Attendance, Deliveries, Salon Money Collections, Patients signing in and out for visits or appointments.
- Maintains the receptionist schedule, fills the gaps in case of call offs/no shows. It is your responsibility to make sure there is always a receptionist covering the front desk during working hours.
- Must submit the completed monthly reception schedule for the following month by the third Friday of every month.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Receptionist Qualifications**:

- Must possess, as a minimum, a high-school diploma or its equivalent.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to be resourceful, tactful, and proactive in dealing with any issues that may arise.
