**Introduction**:
Help build the future in Prince William County The Prince William County Finance Department seeks an individual to perform complex analysis and management of debt issuance and capital project financing; along with financial analysis related to general financial and economic conditions.

An objective will be to develop a deep understanding of the economic and fiscal drivers of the county’s credit ratings. You will also be engaged in analysis of many ad hoc/one-time projects. The Financial Analyst coordinates the delivery of debt related information with both internal and external areas. Information provided is expected to be high quality, relevant, accurate, and timely. Various projects to which the Financial Analyst will be assigned have extremely time-sensitive deadlines. The role interfaces with the County’s external Financial Advisor, bond counsel and ratings agencies.

**Minimum Requirements**:High school diploma or G.E.D and 6 years of related finance & accounting experience.

**Preferences**:Bachelor’s degree in finance, public administration, business administration, or a related field. Minimum two years’ experience in finance or accounting. CTP, CPA, CFA (or partial completion), CPFO designation.

**Work Schedule**:Primarily telework, but there is a need to attend some meetings in person within and around Prince William County.

**Starting Salary Range**: $86,799 - $117,434
