Until 2020, many people didn't pay much attention to the global supply chain. But with ships backlogged in ports around the world, the maritime industry has become increasingly important to both the supply chain and our everyday lives.

At ShipIn, we develop advanced fleet management solutions for the maritime industry, responsible for 90% of the world's trade. Our Visual Fleet Platform (AI and Computer Vision powered) delivers a digital bridge between vessels at sea and teams ashore. We equip shipowners, managers, and seafarers with advanced tools to perform their tasks in a safer and more productive manner.

**Objectives**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator/Intern on a temporary basis. This role offers a dynamic environment where you can contribute to the company's marketing strategy and gain valuable hands-on experience. As a temporary member of our team, you'll be expected to dedicate up to 4 hours a day, 5 days a week to this role, providing essential support to our marketing initiatives.

Assist in developing and implementing the company’s marketing strategy

Coordinates and support the production of marketing communications materials

Compile market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results, case studies

Ensure that all marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation

Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for campaigns’ success

**Key Responsibilities**

Conduct research of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor landscape, and prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing data

Support the marketing director in establishing and evaluating marketing strategy by assembling forecasts, setting objectives, organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars

Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to sales and customer success teams, and provide instructions for usage and promotion

Plan meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists

Maintain inventory of marketing and sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials

**Required skills and qualifications**

Experience in marketing coordination or similar role is preferred

Basic knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated and hardworking

Experience using data analytics software for research

Excellent communication and presentation skills

**Preferred skills and qualifications**

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications - remove this line for intern

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools

Proven aptitude in seeking creative solutions to multi-faceted challenges

Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
