**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Superintendent will assume responsibility for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring they are carried out safely, punctually, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Tasks will primarily be conducted outdoors, involving exposure to various weather conditions.
- Leading and managing on-site construction teams.
- Coordinating and supervising all on-site activities.
- Participation in production meetings.
- Reviewing and familiarizing oneself with schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to them.
- Maintaining quality standards.
- Placing orders for necessary materials.
- Adhering to project timelines to meet deadlines.
- Ensuring compliance with on-site safety regulations, cleanliness, and organization.
- Collaborating with inspection authorities for necessary inspections.
- Providing technical support, interpreting drawings, and recommending construction methods and equipment as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with project procedures, safety programs, and work regulations by on-site personnel, documenting any violations.
- Participating in planning meetings for daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
- Ensuring availability and on-site presence of all necessary materials, manpower, and resources as per the 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule.
- Reviewing and submitting field personnel timesheets, installed quantity reports, and daily progress reports.
- Coordinating daily and weekly work plans of assigned field personnel with other Superintendents and Operations Manager.
- Adhering to OSHA safety procedures and promptly addressing any issues to the Operations Manager or Safety department.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Dependable, hardworking, self-motivated individual.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a civil construction superintendent with a focus on earthwork.
- High school diploma required.
- Proficiency in interpreting and executing drawings, specifications, and other documents.
- Ability to manage multiple project assignments independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities.
- Team player mindset.
- Experience with HCSS HeavyJob is desirable.
- Capability to lift 40 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
- Must meet physical requirements necessary for the job.
- Possession of OSHA 30 certification.
- A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors (QCM) certificate is advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
