**JupiterFIRST Church Seeks Director of Communications**

**Do you have a passion for sharing the message of faith and a strong background in communications?**

JupiterFIRST Church is seeking a full-time Director of Communications to play a vital role in fostering a vibrant and connected community. This central hub for all church communications will ensure a cohesive brand and message is delivered across all platforms. From developing engaging website content to creating impactful Sunday worship visuals, you will play a key role in sharing the church's mission and vision. You will also develop and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness of the church and its ministries to attract and retain members.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and manage a comprehensive communication strategy, including website content, church app, social media platforms, print materials, and presentation slides.
- **Ensure seamless Sunday service experience by creating, editing, managing and cueing Worship slide presentation.**:

- Create a marketing plan aligned with the church's goals and objectives, identifying target audiences and outlining strategies to reach them effectively.
- Collaborate with staff at all levels to ensure clear and consistent communication across the church and preschool.
- Manage and oversee social media presence, including developing engaging content and growing the church's online community.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field (though similar credentials will be considered)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a communications or marketing role, preferably in a non-profit or faith-based organization.
- Excellent graphic design, writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor communication for a variety of audiences.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
- Experience with content management systems and marketing automation platforms a plus.
- Familiarity with social media marketing and online advertising strategies is beneficial.
- A passion for the church's mission and a desire to share its message with the community.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Training and Timeline**

Pay: $38,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
