We are looking for an **_experienced_** Hospice RN **to lead and direct our Home Hospice team as the **Clinical Supervisor **in the **Demotte, IN** area. In this role you will be the key player in directing, supervising, and evaluating all activities for the clinical area. As the Director of Nursing, you will be overseeing the Home Health and Hospice sides of care.

**What You Would be Responsible for**:

- Identifies and evaluates the potential needs resources in relation to community health and the agency policies and programs
- Participates in the review analysis and appraisal of affective and total agency program responsible to ensure orientation of all new staff is carried out prior to first case management
- Defines, allocates and supervisors responsibilities within the province of nursing
- Provides for continuing evaluation of the nursing staff by:

- Evaluating on performance and utilizing available help in planning for professional growth
- Evaluating the performance of other individuals in the division in relation to the establish standards and individuals professional development
- Evaluating total nursing services in relation to agency goals
- Participates in periodic meetings with the administrator to ensure optimum communication interdepartmentally and to discuss any mutual problems with our agency problems. Participates in all agencies in service programs.
- Directs and coordinates services provided by personnel

**Haven Qualification Standards**:

- Educational/Degree: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Training/Licensure: Currently licensed as a registered nurse to practice in the state.
- Knowledge/Skills/Ability: Ability to work independently, make accurate, and at times, quick judgments. Ability to supervise others appropriately. Ability to respond appropriately to crisis outside of a hospital setting.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hospice registered nurse
- Supervisory experience is preferred
