- Develop the technical bench strength of the E92MBM production organization

**Must Have**

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design or

Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.

Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

**Nice to Have**
- Ability to manage, lead and direct the work of others
- Proven exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Experience in working collaboratively across divisional lines
- Experience in planning, design engineering and waterfront manufacturing - specifically structure discipline
- Experience briefing senior leadership and Navy customers
- Understanding of VWI value stream
- Demonstrates technical rigor
- Ability to identify training needs to support the development of technical proficiency across the CVN production team
- Experience using Teamcenter and NX and SAP
- General knowledge of EVMS/LRM principles
- Managing design products
- Ability to leverage system engineer principles and project management approaches to evaluate processes and identify gaps
- A natural desire to invest, nurture and motivate a strong and diverse team that effectively supports each other
- Foster the Leadership Culture Behaviors of role clarity, knowing the score and asking the extra question
