**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Pre-op patients upon arrival to the surgical center, obtaining relevant medical history and ensuring all necessary pre-operative assessments are completed.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient, addressing their physical and emotional needs throughout the perioperative process.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and anesthesia as prescribed by the surgeon, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and preparation for surgery, ensuring a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological responses to surgical interventions, intervening promptly to address any changes in condition.
- Provide thorough post-operative care, including monitoring for complications, managing pain, and facilitating patient recovery.
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care instructions, medications, and follow-up appointments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists, to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of [State Name].
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a surgical or perioperative setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic surgical environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
