Bakery Assistant

Bilstad’s Beignets is looking for a baker's assistant for an early morning shift starting a as early as 4 am or 6 am depending on business volume. This position needs to be a self-motivated morning person that can work a couple hours per day by themselves in the early morning hours mixing, and scaling dough 5 days per week. Other responsibilities are as such below.

Responsibilities of this associate are below.
- Creating a welcoming and positive customer experience at the bakery counter.
- Advising customers on our product selection and taking orders as well as processing payments.
- Will aid in preparing the food and beverage products.
- Portioning and packaging purchased items.
- Assisting with the managing of the baking ingredients inventory and requesting the purchase of stock.
- Cleaning and sanitizing as needed, as well as sweeping and moping.

Skills and attributes of an associate
- Must maintain good personal hygiene.
- Needs to be punctual on their workdays.
- Must have a keen eye for attention to details, and the ability to learn to create visually appealing displays our products.
- Understands good customer service.
- Restaurant background preferable, but not necessary.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
