Description:
Patient Transport Specialists are responsible for transporting clients in a safe and timely manner. This is a variable hour position and does include nights and weekends.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Transport clients to and from destinations
- Arrive at destinations on schedule
- Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups
- Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays
- Interact with clients professionally at all times
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
- Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
- Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date
- Effectively contributes to and supports an environment that enhances the positive self image of persons served and preserves their human dignity.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- A valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience to perform the job safely
- Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients
- Demonstrates strengths in the ability to solve problems and implement proactive interventions and responses to adults with substance use and mental health disorders for a better quality of life.
