Yard Laborer

**SALARY RANGE**:$20 - $25 per hour

This position is responsible for gathering and packaging construction materials for transportation to project sites and placing them in their designated locations upon their return.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Collects construction materials, small machinery, and tools for orders from the company’s equipment management software.
- Appropriately packages construction materials, small machinery, and tools for transportation to project sites.
- Operates forklifts and other machinery to load, unload, and move materials from shelving units and large trucks, as well as various power and hand tools while performing assigned duties.
- Gathers returned construction materials, small machinery, and tools and returns them to their designated locations or to the repair shop.
- Follows proper safety and company procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma or any combination of education or professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized with the ability to complete work with great accuracy.
- Capable of communicating with tact and working with a variety of team members.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Experience and proficiency in operating a wide range of manual equipment.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

Primarily a highly active warehouse environment, with frequent assignments outdoors.
