**Specialty Packaging Associate**

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Rate**: $16.00 Per Hour

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Follow established procedures and guidelines to package a variety of specialized products.
- Properly use packaging materials, labels, and containers according to product specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure packaged products meet quality standards and are free from defects.
- Notify the Packaging Supervisor of any deviations or issues encountered during the packaging process.
- Keep accurate records of packaging activities, including batch records and quality checks.
- Use packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets and ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to facilitate efficient packaging processes.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Work efficiently to meet production quotas and deadlines.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized packaging area.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in packaging specialized products is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Competence in basic computer tasks for data entry and documentation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry packages, containers, or materials ranging from 25 to 50 lbs.
- Skill in using hands and fingers for tasks such as assembling, sealing, labeling, and inspecting products.
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks such as folding, taping, and stacking.
- Capability to work effectively as part of a team, sometimes near coworkers.
- Awareness of and adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
