An anticipated vacancy will exist July 2024 for a **Curriculum Supervisor of High School Education** in the Norristown Area School District.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in education from an accredited college of university
- PA Curriculum and Instruction Supervisory Certificate **or** PA Administrative Certificate
- A minimum of five **(5)** years of full-time teaching experience
- Previous experience with curriculum development and/or program implementation preferred
- combination of education, experience and certification that enables performance as a supervisor of people and process

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates the planning and implementation of curriculum, learning initiatives, and a comprehensive educational program for Secondary students for the District
- Consults with principals and teachers on all aspects of the High Schools
- Plans and guides the growth and development of instructional programs in all content areas
- Facilitates the curriculum cycle with the assistance of the Curriculum & Instruction team and content area curriculum committees, to analyze, design and develop, implement, evaluate, and adjust curriculum and intended learning outcomes on an ongoing basis
- Facilitates the production of curriculum documents that reflect the scope and sequence of teaching and learning that have been adopted by the District
- Coordinates the selection, distribution, and effective use of instructional materials, as well as the evaluation of their effectiveness and utilization as part of teaching and learning
- Provides professional development as part of the District's professional learning, induction, and training programs
- Regularly reviews and analyzes data with Principals and teachers to facilitate planning for continuous student growth and achievement
- Plans, coordinates, and facilitates meetings with Principals, teachers, and other instructional staff.
- Participates in evaluation process for teachers and professional staff members with Principals and Assistant Principals

**Salary**:
12 Month, Full-Time
- 2023-2024 Salary Schedule: (2024- 2025 will be provided at a later date)_

0-5 Years of Experience: $131,458.906-10 Years of Experience: $135,348.8811-15 Years of Experience: $139,238.8616-20 Years of Experience: $143,128.8421-24 Years of Experience: $147,018.8225+ Years of Experience: $150,908.80

Pay: $131,458.90 - $150,908.80 per year
