Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Office Clerk. As an Office Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by performing various administrative tasks and providing excellent customer service.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain records
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing packages for shipment
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files
- Assist with general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a front desk or clerk role is preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of office procedures and basic administrative tasks
- Proficient in data entry and using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
