**D&B Construction **is looking for a **Multi-Family** **Construction** **Superintendent **to join our Delaware Valley Division team A Construction Superintendent will manage the schedule and activities of the project. This position will be based on the jobsite in **Dover, DE**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review job plans and construction contract documents
- Understand construction codes
- Understand project plans and submittals
- Obtain permits
- Coordinate and manage the schedule and all activities of the project
- Receive materials
- Maintain an organized and clean site
- Complete Inspection checklists to ensure quality
- Communicate with customers, suppliers and trade partners
- Utilize Procore to track and update project status

**Competencies**:

- Construction knowledge and ability to read construction contract documents
- Ability to lead a team of subcontractors and field carpenters
- Proficiency with taking and uploading digital photographs
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to follow and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Ability to problem solve

**Requirements**:

- 5 years’ experience in a superintendent
- 5 years multi-family or home construction experience
- Additional experience in office and retail tenant improvement
- Ability to comply with all safety procedures and policies
- Valid Driver’s License

**Preferred**:

- 10+ years’ experience superintendent
- OSHA 10 training
- Proficiency in Procore or similar software

**Experience**:

- Home Building: 5 years (preferred)
- Superintendent: 4 years (preferred)
- Multifamily construction: 5 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
