**Essential Duties & Responsibilities - **_**Within the philosophy, objectives and policies of Capital Caring Health, carries out the following essential functions**:_

**Quality Provision of Services**:
**Organizational Compliance**:
Ensure all organizational and financial documentation and data is updated, stored, and shared in compliance with Capital Caring Health process and procedures. Ensures fundraising best practice in all activities including but not limited to financial tracking of donor funds, reporting, tracking, and cultivation activities.

**People/Communications**:
Maintains relationships with grantor/Foundation staff, grant portal administrators, and agency/consultant partners. Works closely with CCH clinical and non-clinical program staff to help develop and translate programmatic outlines and summaries to achieve financial support from Foundations and other public or private entities. Establishes and maintains current information for contacts and relationships, internally, externally and for all current or prospective funders, and within the database-of-record. Provides essential information to marketing and communications teams when grants are awarded. Participates in events, activities, and visits to Capital Caring Health in-patient units or offices as requested by Vice President of Public Affairs & Philanthropy or Chief Marketing, Communications, and Philanthropy Officer.

**Experience Requirements**

The Grants & Philanthropy Specialist must have at least 1- 2 years’ experience in a professional environment, preferably nonprofit and/or healthcare. Fundraising or grants management exposure preferred.

**Education Requirements**:
The Grants & Philanthropy Specialist must have at least an Associate’s Degree in a related field; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Works in business office with computers, printers, copy/fax machines and telephones. The noise level in the work environment is usually light to moderate. Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
