**Location**: PMC- CMAC- Middle River Boys and Girls Club
**Position Type**: full-time (30 hours/week), non-exempt
**Pay Range**: $15.00/hour

**About this opportunity**:
The Program Aide plans, implements, supervises members, and evaluates activities provided within a specific program area, supporting our priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character, and Citizenship. The Program Aide also transports club members to community outings/field trips.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
- Promote and stimulate program participation.
- Register new members and participate in their club orientation process.
- Provide guidance and role modeling to members.
- Effectively implement and administer programs, services, and activities for Club members.
- Monitor and evaluate programs, services, and activities to ensure safety of members, quality in programs and appearance of the branch at all times. Prepare periodic activity reports.
- Assist with implementation of outreach efforts to sustain and increase program membership and program participation.
- Assist in maintaining facility and equipment in good working order.
- Assist in maintaining all storage areas keeping them orderly and clean.
- Report all repairs, maintenance, and janitorial needs to supervisor.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- May participate in special programs and/or events.
- Required to drive Club vehicle to transport club participants and/or foods/equipment, etc.
- Assist in the conservation of all Salvation Army resources.
- Abide by and enforce all Salvation Army policies and procedures.
- Be willing to assist in any way asked to fulfill the mission of The Salvation Army.
- Any other duties as may be assigned.

**What we are looking for in you**:
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or G.E.D. AND previous work in related field with Children and Youth, preferred; Commitment to actively participate in a Professional Development Plan.

Licenses and Certifications
Valid State Driver’s License, required; CDL license, preferred
First Aid and C.P.R. Certification (or ability to obtain)
