Role and Responsibilities

The Machine Operator position at PAC Machinery, Bags & Materials is responsible for operating converting machinery to produce high quality product and meet production goals in a safe and efficient way.
- Operate rewinders, perform quality checks, package and label finished work product.
- Read and comprehend production schedule, work orders, manuals, and performance specifications, to establish proper operation of packaging equipment.
- Ensure finished product meet the specifications established by Quality and the Production departments.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety rules established by the Company and maintain work area clean of obstacles, debris, and loose material.
- Record in log book quality control, production, and/or maintenance issues and/or information related to the operation and/or production on the machine.
- 1st Shift hours 7am - 3pm
- 2nd Shift hours 3pm-11pm
- 3rd Shift hours 11pm - 7am

**Qualifications and Education**
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Some college credit or professional development courses preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math and use ruler for basic measurements.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals.
- A hard working mindset that enjoys seeing a job well done
- 2+ years working in manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

**Physical Requirements**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds consistently. On occasion, lifting of weight exceeding 25 pounds may be required. Must be able to operate in all areas of the Plant. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
