Recreation Coach

**Job Overview**:

The role of this position is to effectively coach and assist with our proprietary method in multiple recreational settings including Speed School, Multi Sport, Early Release Your Inner Athlete and more Make a tremendous difference in the lives of youth and inspire them to love athletic movement as much as you do

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach and demonstrate fundamental skills, sportsmanship and drills to participants
- Ensure the safety of all participants during coaching sessions
- Provide constructive feedback to help individuals improve their performance
- Prepare session set up including training grounds according to session/program needs
- Support session pace while aiding in coaching of clients/athletes
- Communicating with parents and recreation department heads
- Support teaching and training new coaches or interns
- Prepare session paperwork including lesson plans, attendance sheets, etc.
- Take attendance of clients/athletes, take notes of any necessary information
- Facility and equipment upkeep before, during and after all sessions
- Film session when needed

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in childcare, teaching or sports coaching
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic and can-do attitude
- Leadership skills
- Personal athletic experience in high school or college is preferred but not required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 15 per week

- working with children: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
